I have recently been asked to configure a SAN solution addressing ~50TB of usable data in a RAID-5, so ~75TB raw storage is needed. I am currently working with the DS8300, and everything seems straightforward enough.

The kicker is that there is also a requirement to support 3390-3 volume emulation. I am led to believe that there is a limit on how much raw capacity 3390-3 can address in one frame, and that multiple frames might be required.

Does anyone have insight into whether this is the case, and if so, how many frame would be needed to meet these requirements?

Forgive my double post, the first time I got a CF error and assumed it didn't go through.
