Hi y'all I've had MATWorX32 installed on my personal machine for over 6 months, and it connects to my PBX NEC NEAX 2000 IPS system. However, just last week it stopped connecting. I get the error message of "Can't Connect."

I have the same MATWorX installed in the server room on the Phone Server machines and it also can't connect but used to connect just fine. Any suggestions on what it might be? Thanks for your help in advance.
Erica

Tonight it sounds like we are going to do a lot of the testing to fix this issue. I have to wait for director approval and afterhours. However, we do have CallCenter Worx also on the M606 card so this might change things? As far as the telnet screen, I'm not too familar with Telnet. When it opens it is completely blank, with the IP in the blue bar section next to the word telnet. If I didn't explain myself well, just let me know.
Thanks guys for your help I really appreciate it!

Check the callCenterWorx and make sure in connections settings the Max and Min PBX ports are set ot 60030. Some sites set the min port to 1024 and there is an issue in some revs of CCW where the OAI connection will hic-up and attempt another connection via 60029 and fail then 60028 continually cascading down the ports till it reaches 60000 used for MAT and then locks that port out. The only way to bring it back on line is to power down the system and reseat the MP.

Erica,

If the "the blue bar section next to the word telnet. does not display Telnet IP + address Then the problem is infact in the PBX or in the Network. If this occurs with crossover cable as you described before then the problem is in the PBX. It may be that Pave35 is correct and Power down is needed. to free up the port.

Mextera.

Pave, how would I check for what CallCenterWorx Max and Min ports are set to?

Mextera, telnet does show telnet + the IP address. So it looks like the PBX and Network are okay?

In the CCW MAT, look for the communications option across the top bar. This will open up and show all of the communications settings. The CCW uses port 60030, and the PBX MAT uses 60000.

I checked Call Center Worx Mat, and its on 6030 :(
So no luck there. And MATWORX is set to 60000. Any more ideas?

Have you powered down PIM 0 and reseated the CP24??
This will release the MAT port if it is locked up.

No I haven't powered pim 0 down. I will have to try that tonight.

Erica,
Good luck tonight and have a good weekend!! Hope reseating the CP-24 works. Let me know.

Since you were all so kind as to help me through the MatWorX issue, I thought I would tell you what the end result was. I shut down the Pims and had to reseat the CPU board. After all that was done, the MatWorx issue corrected itself. Interesting. :) So thanks for y'alls help!
