Matworx - PBX not listed

I have a MEAX2000 and am trying to use MatworX to configure it. I had it up and running but had to rebuild the machine it was installed on. I have reinstalled matworx but when i pull up the applicaiton the PBX is not listed in the bar to the left. how do I get Matworx to show me the NEAX2000 icon so I can then setup the connection?

It sounds like you have matworx32. It requires a license diskette. If you can get the later version you would be better off. It also does not require a license diskette.

That would be MATWorx Studio that requires the licence. You need to get a copy of MATWorx 32/IPS. The Studio product is discontinued (Thank God).

I remember that problem, firts make sure that you are in the PBX tab.

I'm not really sure so youll have to play here but I think it was a right click and add. I'm not sure from here I have not seen Studio in about 4 years.

pave35, you are correct. The matworx studio required a license and not the later version called Matworx32.

Thanks, i have the license disk. I put that in when i installed the applicaiton but no NEAX2000 showed up in the bar on the left.

Also I don't know where to get Matworx 32. The company that installed this Phone system went out of business and NEC says that there is no support agreement on the unit.

is Matworx 32 somethign that I can just buy from NEC directly or a reseller?

The part number for Matworx IPS is 0221400. You should be able to purchase it from any dealer. If you have IVS2000 and not IVS2 or IPS stick to the old version.
