Matrix Report - line up columns correctly

I have a matrix report where the layout was created by the wizard where all but the last couple of rows and the last column fit on the first page. The second page list the last column for all the rows from the first page, then starts listing the remaining rows but the columns that line up with the column headings from the first page. I tried putting a page protect on the frame that contains the entire matrix. This put all the rows on the first page and the last column on the second page, but the headings do not print at all on the first page and start with heading 1 over the last column and continues the headings (with nothing under them) on to the third page.
Any suggestions as to a good way to fix either of these issues (if one is fixed, the other doesn’t matter) will be greatly appreciated. This is in 6i.

Try setting outer frame with fixed horizontal and variable vertical elasticity.

Aready tried that.

OK, try making that fram fixed both vertically and horizontally, but stretch it out to occupy the entire page.
