MAT Dongle needed - URGENT

We require a replacement dongle for MAT 6.5. Our dongle went bad (we have determined this with the aid of Rainbow Technoligies), and we must run our billing.

If anyone has upgraded to OTM, or pulled a MAT system and has one of these, please reply. We do not need software or anything else, just the dongle.

dongle is directly related to your system id and that means you need to get from nortel...also since matt is no longer supported you will need otm...good luck

Since I can still access the configuration in MAT, the site ID could very easily be changed to match the new dongle. Also, we have OTM, but it is not running properly yet. Again, if anyone has something to help us out, please reply.

Unfortunately luv2ski is correct. You can only get the dongle from Nortel. If you want to change your system ID/site ID that will take a little time for Nortel's Order Management. You can get this fast tracked, but you will need to contact your vendor, have them open an ETAS case and they can get working on this. I would have your vendor contact ETAS anyways if you cannot do this. If this is service effecting then they will get right on it.

Remember you will need the new USB dongle with the upgrade to OTM 2.1/Succession. If it takes too long to get the new dongle, get your OTM up and migrate all your info.

i don't know if you can migrate the info without your dongle, but if you can get a dongle from nortel it will not be this month, i didn't think a dongle could be bad. have you replaced the interface card that it plugs into?.. otm should only take a a matter of hours to complete. Sounds like the right way to go.

The dongle is definately bad. This is coming from the dongle manufacturer. They had me test the dongle, and they determined that it has gone south.

From what I'm hearing, we could not even set up a new installation of MAT (assuming that we had another copy and a dongle), on a new PC and copy our CDR data? What would prevent this from working?

I know others have purchased old MAT packages from people who have upgraded to OTM and installed it on their systems.

no if you have hte cdr data you will be able to recover your history, fromthe above post i had thought that you needed mat up to access those files

Well, I guess what we need is a complete MAT installation set (software, key codes, dongle, etc). I just don't have time to install OTM and train them on use right now. If anyone has a copy of MAT they wish to sell, please let me know ASAP.
