What are your opinions on putting call treatments in the master script before executing the primary. Such as an IVR session for example.

I always understood that it was good practice to exit the master script as quickly as possible otherwise the call may default.

i have it this way and sure enough, after a while began running into space issues (50K character limit on SCCS 5)...now everything has to be re evalutated and put into its own primary.

If you can keep the master simple, by all means, do so. However, many customers have reporting and unique routing issues that may need to be addressed in the master script. As robm44 stated, the master does have a limit and it is a real pain to re-architect the master on a live call center. So, try to avoid cluttering up the master as much as you possibly can.

The other issue is that your master script can be used for other skill sets so reporting on the master when it is used to give IVR, Q to skill set etc may be more complicated, best practice is to only use the Master for CDN routing to to primary scripts
