master/media server replacement?

good morning. i am looking at replacing a v880 master server and am wondering if anyone is using sun's new t2000 server as either a master or media server?
i want to drive either a stk sl500 or scalar i500 with six to eight lto gen3 fc tape drives.

Hi, we use already a T2000 as media server and Netbackup 6.0 MP2. stk5500 with 6 lto2 and 10 lto1. LTO3 is planned for the end of the year.
It is stable and we will upgrade all our mediaservers to T2000.
