We have several people who work in the field utilizing different ISP's. The company wants evryone's email address to show, i.e.@company.com instead of charter.net or whomever. Is there anyway to set up Outlook so when someone sends an email it will look as though they sent it from the company email and not showing the ISP address.

Thanks,

Hans

that will depend on the server they use to send the email.

Some will allow relaying others won't even if the user has authenticated him self to the server.
If the later type of server is used by any of your "field" workers then there's no way around.

Best way would be for your company to setup the server so it accepts requests from the internet to send email. This would mean setting up all required firewall rules, as well as authentication to the mail server.

Also note that some (very crapy) ISP's block certain email related ports when not using their servers. if this happens with any of the ISP's your people use then either request them to allow those ports or change ISP.

Hey I appreciate the response! I figured as much, but hoped that someone would know a way around this...unfortunately they do not want to use webmail, which we could host from our internal server. But I will bring this back up again!
I will have to check out with some of the people in the field about authentication. The REAL bad thing is; they barely know how to send attachments much less try anything "techy". But I do appreciate the input!
