Mas Notifications

Now I've been task to see if the CS1000M CP IV can do a mass notification alert.

From what I can gather this mass notification is via PA and phone, at the press of a key on a digital phone all phones will ring and an announcement on the PA will be activated.

Any ideas would really be appreicated.....thanks

I have not seen this in the Avaya/Nortel CS1000 system. If you have IP sets there was an Application Server used for IP Set paging that would page over the sets, I think it has been EOL/MD though.

I have not seen anything that will do a full system barge in, page, or alert to the set.

Mass notifications can be done via IP sets. The current software on those models supports both the old Nortel method as well as the Avaya web/push API. There are DevConnect partners that provide solutions using those approaches. Avaya also sells the "Avaya Notification Solution".
