I have a SCCS 5.0 SU03 server that keeps producing MAS Link Handler errors. We're not using an Access Link, so I'd like to just disable the MAS Link Handler service.

Before I do that, I'd like to find out if disabling the MAS Link Handler service will have any adverse affect on Symposium Link Services. This is a call center using CTI/Screen Pops.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No the MAS link handler Port 2 is for the serial link to Mermail. I take it you are not using Callpilot for voice services to the SCCS (open voice session, broadcast). If you are using these you can not disable the MAS link handler. Other than that, go ahead and set the service to disable. It will not affect the MLSM service that controls CTI information.

Thanks, I'll go ahead and do that. We're definitely not using CallPilot or Meridian Mail for voice processing.

Thanks for the quick response!
