Mas 90 invoice printing/user lock out issue

My firm is running Mas 90 V. 3.06, I believe we're upgrading to V. 4.0 soon.

There's an average of between 3-5 users in the system at any given time, 3 collections officers that use the system, A/R (me) and A/P.

Regardless of which division I print, be it one of our smaller divisions or our largest division (based on invoice count and customer database) whenever I try to print invoices, all other users MAS 90 seizes until the task has completed spooling. As soon as the first invoice spits out of the printer, they are able to resume normal activity.

What information do I need to be able to help you help me?

Are you really on 3.06 or should it be 3.60? Your best solution is to upgrade to 4.20 which should solve your issue.

That's what help -> about says about the version info, so I'm taking that at face value.

I'm not sure what version we're upgrading to, the last I was informed was 4.0, but I would assume it's actually 4.2 as our guy told us to hold off until after march.

How is it on invoice printing times? This has been a continual problem since the get go, despite our computer guy telling our a/v to ignore mas 90 files. It will still take upwards of 2 hours to spool 30 invoices.

That's way too long to print 30 invoices. Either something is wrong with your form (try a default form) or your network/workstation settings.
