Lets say i have user A and their ext is 4500, his assistant whose ext is 4575 has a mcr key of 4500 on their phone.

The asstnt answers the call for 4500 on their set and wants to transfer back to voice mail for 4500 so she hits transfer and 4500 and the call is sent..
if user 4500 is at his desk, he may answer the phone, if she transfers to vm piolt 3333 it goes to 4575 vm.

wants to transfer with out ring or limited ring to 4500's vm everytime with out the risk of 4500 answering it,
4500 has a roll over line with LHK defined as 1
Any ideas?

transfer to express mail, wait for answer, dial the dn.. a little slower but stops multi rings at 4500..what i did for one site was build apps for the top 10 users.. call came to 4500, built a maxp 1 acd 24500, pa dialed that, it was an app that just went to express mail for 4500.. by doing that she could just dial the acd dn and press connect

not sure i follow express mail? INside Mermail?
the pilot now is 3333..and it goes to MS Exchange 2007.
So if she dials 3333 now or attmepts to transfer to 3333 it will go to her voice mail box not 4500's.

I thought there might be a way to use marp here to my advantage.

You have mail & express mail, if your mail is 3334, then express is probably 3334. Look it up in ld 23 ACD

If I want to xfer a message to 4500 mail, when you xfer, dial express mess, it ask for mailbox, enter the mailbox & hit xfer again.

If I do not want to talk to an annoying cust, I express them a message, their light comes on, it doesn't let the set ring, it just leaves a message in their mailbox.

You can also look at the Voice Service DN Table in Mer Mail to find your express messaging (EM) number but it's probably 3334 as bigindian65 stated.

I know my express is totally different. OUr vm is 5611 and the Express is 5793 then the mailbox, release and the call is dumped.

Thanks so much for all the tips...the voice mail in this case is Micorsoft Exchange, Unified Messaging,,,and i found out through soem testing you can set up a secondary number with in that and on the pbx program a 500 set to forward to it and get the same greeting as the primary number.
Pertty slick!!

If it were mermail or octel or audix, i could transfer to the express mail number, however if the recpetioist had intercepted it, and she transfered it, it would go to her mailbox not her boss's.
Thats where the Marp question came in. He has the Marp..
i can get it to go if he is on his key 0 with LHK set to 0, but it was set to 1..so it always hit is roll over line.

Sounds to me like your wasting alot of TN's doing it your way.

What phone System do you have?
What Vmail System do you have?

"the voice mail in this case is Micorsoft Exchange, Unified Messaging" I think you still need a Vmail system

Unified messaging is the voice mail system,
It hits the PBX...to tie lines through a gateway to Microsofts unified messaging. Um is where the voice mail lives, can be reached via phone or pc, your voice mail can also be played through your outlook client.
Its an option 81
and the voice mail is Microsofts Unified messaging. UM is a server thast lives off of the exhange farm.
The gate way provides the Sip to get through to the other side.
I wouldnt be eating up TN's, only DN's

I though UM was tied to a Vmail system on the PBX and not a seperate Vmail system. if your creating a 500 set for every DN

This is wasting a TN.
