I'm doing a children education tests using Director. I will burn my program into a CD and I want the marks of the tests to stay in the CD until I press reset.
But my friend told me that the marks will not be there when I exit the program because we cannot write to the CD.
But I can do that while developing my program in my computer.
So what should I do?

You have to create an external file that stores the results of the test somewhere on the hard drive. That way when you create the CD, your program will still function because it is reading and writing to the external file.

How do I do that? If I create the file to store to result in my HD, means that if I use the CD in another computer, it will not store the marks as well...right?
