Hi Guys,

How does one indent & mark text which has been cut and pasted as quoted from another email, file, etc? I have seen this done with a vertical blue line in the left margin adjacent to the quoted text. But I don't know how to do it.

TIA

It depends on the mail client. What email client, and version, are you using.

Thanks.

...in addition to the mail client settings, you will only see that vertical blue line in an HTML message. Plain text messages can still be indented, but won't be colored & formatted quite so pretty.

Thanks for responding, cmeagan656 & smah.

I'm using OE 6.0. I do know how to do a plain indentation of a blocked line or paragraph. But I'm looking for that cool blue vertical line in the indented margin.

Thanks.

Actually, that cool blue vertical line is the default in OE6, when replying to an html e-mail.
