I've just designed a report in Access 2000, and no matter how many times I set the margins to 1/2" all around in Page Setup, the next time I open it, the margins are back to 1" (default)and some of my fields are truncated. I've been careful to design the page to keep all controls, etc. within the 7.5 x 10 boundaries. Anybody know why? Can I hard-code the page setup?

Hope I'm not insulting you, but after you've set the margins in Page Setup from the File menu, do you save the report? If you are running the report in Preview mode, changing the margins through Page Setup and sending the report to the printer, then if you close the report without saving, the next time the report is opened the margins will default to the Windows default margins.

I believe if you save the report after changing the margins, the next time you open the report, the desired margins will be intact.

HTH,

Vic
