MAPPED DRIVE VOLUME NUMBER

Hi,
Is there any method to get the volume number of the mapped network drive ? for eg from Comp2 the D drive of Comp1 is mapped to H:. We want the volume number of H drive ie the D drive on Comp1

When I run my VFP application from Comp2 I want the Volume Serial Number of the drive mapped to Comp1 (which has the data used by the VFP application).

I have tried the GetVolumeInformation API, but in case of mapped drives it always returns a 0.
