MAPI MAIL - POPUPS!

On my mail server, I have it configured to use Mapi mail instead of SMTP. We have a third party application that also sends mail to users from this app. Whenever this happens, I will receive a popup asking if I want to allow this. The developers of this app have told us to use SMTP to solve this issue, however, that is not an option for us. Does anyone know of a patch or anything that would stop these mail popups?
We are using Exchange 2000.

Well, MAPI is a totally different protocol then SMTP.
Could you elaborate on why that is not an option?

Because of security issues we have been instructed that we would not use SMTP. We understand that you can(if desired), only put in the IP address of the server where the app is located using SMTP and this would only allow this server to get through. But management has decided against it.

In that case, you're stuck.
Security is a big thing, agree 200%, but some people in management take it a step too far, and then you suffer the consequenses. Sorry, they can't have it all.
