Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to measure the amount of traffic in one day on a MAPD.
Is it simply a case of measuring the messages and that will give a sum total of the messages in a twelve hour period; the reason being is my customer is looking at whether they need another one or not.
Thanks in advance

No he is talking about MAPD, not Audix.
What is your customer trying to do that makes them think they need a MAPD? That would help a lot...

Login to MAPD board and review the Status screens. Default will show messages To/From Definity in 30 min rolling summary. Counter can be reset to different intervals.

The last MAPD release with R8 CVLAN has some more detailed message count utilities but requires Avaya support as it requires command line access to enable. Once enabled, can give high water marks etc.

In CM, you can Status BRI with the BRI port assigned to the MAPD ports (LIST STA TYP ASAI/LIST STA TYP ADJLK will give you a list of all MAPD ports).

Newer releases of CM offer the STAT CTI commands which can give you message counts for all CTI links on a single screen. I think that is CM2+.
