How can I run a Map Info view from VFP?
 

What is "Map Info view" ? Connected dirves?

I mean MapInfo Viewer/Apps. ( Software for location - base informations )

MapInfo Professional 6.5 allows the import of ordnance survey maps and with the use of GPS equipment you can further "Plot" additional points such as street furniture, junctions etc which overlay the original maps. The good thing about this software is that the MAP tables can be exported to DBF tables and updated etc through VisFox.

Yes, you can run MapInfo from VFP. There are two broad approaches:

If you just want to launch the program, the easiest way is to ShellExecute it. For more details of how to do that, see:

If you want to control the program from within your VFP app (for example, to programmatically plot points, add pushpins, calculate distances, etc.), you can run MapInfo as a COM server. It would be impossible to give all the necessary details in this posting. Your best bet is to refer to the MapInfo documentation -- look for information on using MapInfo as a COM server, and it should put you in the right direction.
