I have win2k and I am plotting to a HP1050.
I am using Land Desktop 2005 which has map3D 2005 but the service pack for map 3D 2005 will not install because it says it cannot find map 3D on my computer. any ideas?
I need this sevice pack because I am having problems plotting from "land enabled map 2005".
When I go to plot, AutoCad stops responding and I have to close it thru the task manager. I have completly uninstalled 2005 and reinstalled and I still have this problem. I have searched and have not found this specific problem posted anywhere. About half of the office now has 2005 installed and none of them are having any problems plotting.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appricated.

Map3D is a separate program. LDT includes Map functionality, but not the full program. You have to wait for the LDT service pack.

In your windows printer dialog, go to the 1050 properties. On the last tab, Advanced (I think), choose process in computer.
