I inherited a Merlin Phone system, mostly MLX-10D phones and one MLX-20L phone. I found a few documents on the web, to do some programming. But i dont have the operators manuals. I especially need on for the MLX-20L. I am having 2 problems with that, 1)the main phone (voice mail light stays on 24/7) I tried *#53 and I tried deleting all the VM, no luck. 2) when i call comes in, the mail phone (MLX-20L) makes a beeping sound, and the transfer light comes on. The MLX-10D, well the users are asking me how to do simple tasks like forward calls etc. I would just like to hand them a manual. I did look at lucents site, and on google, no luck. Anyone have any advice Thanks in advance, sorry for the long post

Call Lucent Customer Support at 800-628-2888, and they can give you informtation for ordering the correct manuals, and also some helpful programming information. The programming information would be billable, but the information on ordering manuals should be supplied for free. They can make sure the manuals are the correct ones for your release and version of Legend switch(there is a lot of differences from release to release)

Thanks for your help. I found the user manual. There was a document that covered both the MLX-10D and the MLX-20L in 1 document. Ha ha, i set my phone, the MLX-10D to say "OUT TO LUNCH", i leave it on this setting all the time now Thanks for your help!
