We've managed to add a third party voip pbx system onto our merdian option 11c, using a EuroISDN link from the meridian to our new box.

We can now provide voicemail etc for all of our extensions, but would like to set the mwi on the 3310 / 3820 terminals if a person has voicemail.

Is there any dtmf sequence (like *44*) we can send to the extension to get it to turn on / turn off the mwi light ?

Is it also possible to send a dtmf sequence to control the lamps in the lcd display next to the buttons ?

Thanks!

those two keys will turn on and off a lamp, in a pri (tdm) you just need mwk in your clop to intergrate the mw feature to your remote switch, their must be a better way then doing it manually

ok, I must be *really* thick - let me see:

If I set one of the feature keys to "MIK" and another to "MCK" then pressing them will set the mwi on and off ?

What is a clop ? With the external pbx I can get it to dial any extension, and send any dtmf digits. Do you know what those digits must be in order to "pretend" that the feature key was pressed.

Many thanks for your help - I'm sorry that I am a total newbie in the meridian side of things.

Thanks!

it the route for a pri (tmd) if i remember right that is the prompt oft nd3 (name diaplay) mwk.. and no those feature keys are almost never used, i have them for tickets for people who have a perm lamp.. instead of waiting for a lamp audit.. turn them off them call the user and ask them if why it's not on...
