Wouldn't know where to get one as they went out of production so long ago. I used them extensively years back and still support a large number of them now. Have never seen a manual although one probably existed somewhere??
Any questions I can help you with?

I don't have the scematic handy but can give you the adapter pinouts I use for serial printers...
Using standard straight thru RJ-45 patch cable on Javelin end the pinouts for the printer's RJ-45 to DB25 adapter is

2 3 7 20
OR Blu Gr YEL

I have traced down the 8 pins on the serial port but do not have access to it right now. Let me know if you need it...

I'm looking to make RJ45 to DB9M converters. Give me anything you can. I really appreciate it!

Cables to Go has a website that sells them.

I've already tried purchasing two adapters that were billed to work. No luck with either of them.

I've got the materials to make my own, all I need is the pinout.

There's not another soul out there who has ever had to make an RJ45 to DB9 adapter for one of these?

HI, anyone know if I can you a Javelin lc terminal to run as a stand alone internet terminal or photo/advertising display etc, just purchase some, but without software??
regards simon

Yea. My 3rd grader has one in her bedroom for playing games and surfing the net. I don't believe it will handle Xp, you may have to load win98.

Thanks for the quick answer, whats the best way to load new software, as there are no drives but the empty 2 gig HD??

On this website you will see an IDE adapter. You can pull the hard drive and slave it into another machine, or use one of those usb to ide cables. Once another computer sees it, copy the I386folder onto the drive along with another folder that will contain any drivers you might need. Put the drive back in the LC and navigate to the I386 dir. Run windows setup.
