I have a little app that allows users to store images in OLE fields from an image capture program by way of the clipboard. My problem is that once they're stoerd- as [Picture] objects- I can't seem to export them to Excel, or convert them to another format (BMP, JPG, etc.). Any advice?

Hi,

'I can't seem to export them' doesn't help much.

Be more specific: how are you attempting to export, using what, what steps etc?

Sorry - you need to work to get the answer.
(You didn't & that's why you got no response).

Hello. this is a problem that I am also having. We have a table with OLE Word documents as four field containg a persons signature. I need to export this table into another database for use there. The problem is that all the fields export fine, data is there apart the data that is stored in the ole fields is not exported. I have also copied the folder which contains all the documents which are the source for the ole field. The only thing that seems to work is linking the table - is this going to be my best bet or is it possible to export the ole links - where does access keep this links for ole fields?. thanks in advance.

Not sure if there was ever a reult to this - But I am storing a signature in an OLE field and want to split it out and save it as a picture file that can be referenced by its filename - - all automatically....any ideas?
