Hey,

when mandatory profiles are created, does the folder need a .man at the end?

i know the ntuser.dat needs to be ntuser.man

this is for windows xp pro client
2003 server

ok i found the answer

there is mandatory and super mandatory

"Super-mandatory user profiles are similar to normal mandatory profiles, with the exception that users who have super-mandatory profiles cannot log on when the server that stores the mandatory profile is unavailable. Users with normal mandatory profiles can log on with the locally cached copy of the mandatory profile."

what i want to know is, if a standard user has full access to the profile folder, BUT ntuser.dat is set to ntuser.man,

there is no way that if they put something in their local profile it will get copied up to the server?

Thanks
