Mandatory Profile Does Not allow Logon Script to run

Hi all,

This is omotomilola, the guy that posted this thread yesterday(Mandatory Profile Does Not allow Logon Script to run.

Ojosh is my new identity.

My Problem: After implementing mandatory Profile on my DC, I found out that my Logon Script, Offline files and folder redirection stops working.

What can I do to ensure that mandatory profile, logon script, offline files and folder redirection are all running without conflict.

i had the same problem. i can't quite remember what exactly fixed the problem. here are a few things i tried

ran the script localy on a machine and made sure all errors where fixed

fixed problems with the DNS and DHCP on the server

Adjusted alot of GPOs pertaining to scripts like one that doesn't load the profile untill the script has run.

also check where you have the GPOs applying too and try moving those around to different OUs

In addition to the Logon script that was disabled, my users can not also start pst file. Please do not hesitate to help me resolve this also.

Hi guys,

The problem has been resolved. What I did was to run the logon script under computer configuration as against user configuration.
