I am using Crystal Enterprise 10 and Crystal reports 10 and need to schedule 20 reports (with different parameters) from one Crystal report.

I want to have just one object in the CMC so that I can easily update the report if required. Once the 20 reports are scheduled, how can I get them to run in between the weekly schedule if required?

Thanks,

Becky

If I understand correctly, you have ONE report that you have published to CE. You have scheduled that report with 20 recurring instances, each on a weekly schedule, with a different parameter for each schedule/instance. You want the ability to run the report off-schedule as well.

You would do that by scheduling the report to run Once.

Since that seems too obvious, I suspect I'm missing something about what you are trying to accomplish.

I was finding that if I scheduled the report to run once, I had to re-enter the parameters for the 20 different report instances.

I've since found out that I can use the Schedule Manager to re-run the recurring instances any time so the problem is now solved.

Thanks for your reply.
