i run an internet cafe with 9 client computers and a server (win. 2000 advanced server) i am confused as to how to configure my server to manage my network effectively for fast browsing across the network ?

When you say across your network do you mean you want each PC to have access to the next or are you referring to the internet? Is your server set up as a DHCP server or do your PC's have static IP's. Do you want clients to have access to files on the server? What is the speed of your internet connection? How is your router and firewall set up? Are ports being blocked that don't need to be? How are your PC's connected to the network? What kind of nedia are you using?

setting up dns allways speeds internet connections up too
