Manager - Secretary Working???

Any ideas what the best way of setting this up is?
Both handsets are 4620's running on a 2.01 S8700.
The Manager doesn't want his phone to ring unless it is a call from his secretary, all of his calls should forward to her. I have tried SAC and Call Forwards but this doesn't allow the secretary to overide the feature (even if she is the destination or even if she uses busy inducator key to call to him).
The Boss is explicit that his phone must ring when she is calling him and he doesn't want to have to press any keys, just simply lift the handset.
Any ideas???

Priority calling might work for you. This overrides the features, the call will not go to vm.

It is my impression that call forwarding would work here.

If you call forward the managers phone to the secretary's station, the secretary is the only person who can call him and get through. But only if you have 'call forwarding override' activated. It's a systemwide parameter that allows the forwarded-to destination to call the forwarded-from destination, and get through.

Do a 'change system-parameters coverage-forwarding' and set the 'Call Forward Override?' to 'y'.

Then call forward the managers station to the secretary, and everything should work.

She can override the SAC feature, but she will need a priority button for her phone. She calls in by hitting the priority button and his number. That will override the SAC feature. This is the same setup we use here in a situation like yours.

we normaly use an intercom group between the chef and secretary.
