Manager/Secretary Key Features

I have a request from a user that would like to be able to pick up two of her bosses phones and be able to transfer the calls back to those people if she wants.

She currently has two SCN keys set up on her phone that enables her to pick up her both bosses phones, but she is not able to transfer the call back to them.

Any idea gratefully appreciated

i guess that the call that the sec has picked up for the boss has made the DN busy, thats why she cannot send it back to the boss's set

you could add another DN to the boss's set and TRN the call to that DN.. that will work

The secty could put the call on hold and the boss could pick it up on his phone.depending how far their offices are from each other you could set up an intercom group for the 3 of them.Another option would be to park the call and intercom the boss to pick it up.Call park is set up in LD 50.Hope this helps.

As she pick's up the call which was intended for the boss with his own DN key, she cannot call this DN. An other option then the ones PERRYPJ and jimeec mentioned is to out the actual SCR / SCN keys and insert the MCR / MCN keys. this way she can call the boss as his DN is not busy.

would I be able to put the three users in a pick up group this way she could pick uptheir call and give it back to them freely. Would she then need a second dn on her set so she could receive/make calls ?

i would suggest one of two ways to do this

1,, use a hot key setup,, then the sec can buzz the boss and ask if he/she want's to take the call, if yes then the boss can press his key 0 to get the call

2,, add a new DN to the boss's set and transfer calls to that DN....

the meridian switches, have a feature called secrtarial call forwarding. heres what happens. the boss' phone is on call forward to the sec.l she can answer the call cuse his phone dont ring. then and only her phone can call this boss. it's who ever has the phone call forwared to them.
they will be the only ones who can transfer the call to the boss.

ADDED INFO. THE BOSS MUST BE CALLFORWARDED TO THE DN THAT NEEDS TO TRANSFER BACK TO THE BOSS.
