MANAGEMENT STATION BACKUP TECHNIQUE

How do i create a backup schedule for Management Station in simplest form.

The technique must be an automated technique without using an Export_Tool available.

It all depends on what platform you are running. The simplist way is to run a cron job that runs the export script.

I am running Windows 2000 Server Platform with Checkpoint R55-HFA 15.

Since I am new to this kind of stuff. Somebody has already suggested to me to use Expert_tool - Just script it - have it use a time stamped file name and you could eveb have it FTP the file once it is created.

I do not understand this statement in practical world. How do i script it and what syntax do i modify and add.
