Its a MAN scenario with Core switch as 6009 and edge switches as 3524 and 2924 connected downstream.A HP E60 DHCP server(Win 2000) is connected to 100 mbps port of 2924.Clients PCs(Win95/98) are also connected to 2924.Inter VLAN routing done thru 6009.
Problem is that although different scope of IP pools are defined in the DHCP server and 6009 switch my Client PCs connected to different VLANs are not getting the IP address.
Any help regarding the configuration will be highly appreciated.

This sounds a lot like a problem I had...have you configured ip helper-address's on your router interfaces? These are needed to send the broadcast traffic to the dhcp server.

To implement...on your router interface for a network not getting dhcp, issue "ip helper-address x.x.x.x" where x.x.x.x is the ip address of your dhcp server.

hope this helps.
