Malware?

Hi Folks,
After doing an "Ewido" scan on my PC it detected the following : - file "Win32.AVKiller" .
This was cleaned by "Ewido", with backup.
I had just finished updating XP(Home)with all the updates due to having to reinstall WinXP(Home).
What is "Win32.AVKiller"? Was it OK to remove it? Thanks

Id switch to avg anti spyware as ewido was bought out a long time ago by avg and is now avg anti spyware.

Hi. Thanks for the replies. I did remove it, and, AVG scan missed it completely!!
