Hi Friends

I am trying to block malicious calls from external callers.

Tried to configured in X8V2R7.1 system in
Class of service
Back list
activated malicious calls
Activated Black list
added the external telephone number
but still teh calls are recived in the system.

Please help me to fix this issue in Openscape Business X8 V2 R7.1 system

It will be the format of the number in the list, you will just need to try various options. Try blocking your own mobile, you may need area code or possibly country code. Pretty sure it needs to match what is being received from your carrier. You could also do a packet capture under maintenance, traces, tcp dump and check with wireshark what digits you are getting.

HI Cody64

I checked in TCP dump and put the same CLI

09XXXXXXXXX

And also I tried with all formats no use.

But in X8V3 it is working fine.

Not working in X8V2R7.1

Thanks

That's interesting because it is working in V2R6. Mind you stuff being broken in new versions is pretty much par for the course with Unify.

HI LAAZ,

You can try follow the format:
your country code: plus the first + XX
Case 1: +XX then the mobile phone that you restrict
VD: +840938643298
Case 2: +XX then remove the zero first the mobile number and then type digit mobile number
VD: +XX90938643298

Hi Admanio

I activated block anonymous calls and Black list feature and I tried in following format.

+ CC Mobile number
0 Mobile number (as found in trace)
mobile number

Still the feature is not working.

Thanks

Hi LAAZ,

You can try the case 2:
CC Mobile number ( remove "+" )
EX: CC 0908643298
IT done the both case V2R7 ( analog trunk and sip trunk )

I also tried every possible form of format:
F.e. if I want to block 31612345678:
31612345678
+31612345678
00612345678
0612345678
612345678

Nothing will block the call.

Of course Blacklist feature on is enabled, Block Anonymous calls is disabled.
