Is there a way that I can:

A. Make text fields smaller than the standard size and it be compatible across browsers

B. I can make the length of the text field the same size across browsers.

Even when I indicate a length of size, my text fields tend to be longer in Netscape and I need them to be the same size as I'm fitting into a set table size.

Thanks,
Rexolio

have you tried using css attributes to size your text fields...

<input type="text" style="width: 50px;">

...i don't know if it definitely works, but that's what i'd try.
