hi all,

i have made an extension number(7919) which dials out to my freePBX system, once it comes in my freePBX system it dials my extension number on my mobile (a voip app called zoiper)

this works really well

now i have made a coverage answer group(561) which dials a bunch of extension numbers when people dial it and i have added my voip number(7919) and my desk number (7116)

but the issue is when people dial 561 it calls my desk number but it doesnt call my voip number

why is this happening

cheers,

rob

thats one way round it but doesnt that mean for all the extension numbers in the coverage answer group i need to add a line "ec500" to one of there button assignments?

no if you are in the coverage answer group then just assign it to your extension number

thanks joe but i dont know what you mean when you say when im in cov answer group assign it to my extension number?

the only way i can assign an ec500 to an extension number is by going in my station(7116) adding a button "ec500" then issueing command "Change off-pbx-telephone station-mapping 7116" and then add the number of my freepbx system

yes i meant my cm system and not my freepbx system when i said this -

the only way i can assign an ec500 to an extension number is by going in my station(7116) adding a button "ec500" then issueing command "Change off-pbx-telephone station-mapping 7116" and then add the number of my freepbx system

I know this already so if your extension is in a coverage answer group and has ec500 programmed and enabled then it should ring your cell number as well, so not sure what is not working here

mmm... ec500 uses up a license, is there another way i can do this?

before ec500 there was xmobile research this and you will find your answer
