Hi,

I need to make the same simple change to about 150 reports -- namely, the default value for the "Start Date" prompt needs to be changed to 1/1/03.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make this change programmatically, so I don't have to open up each report?

Thanks & regards,
James

There is one tool that I know of that does this. It costs about $300 and it is called rptInspector. Look for it in the utilities section on the LINKS page of my web site. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

Hi

This can be done using RDC. Write a simple program using RDC and change the parameter default values.

Interesting, I'll look into that.

Thanks to both of you for getting back to me.

If you're still looking for something simple - and if your start date is the first day of the current year - save yourself future work and make the start date the first day of the current year, instead of a fixed date.
