making a wifi hotspot in XP

I know there are many videos that explain this step by step.
I've performed the steps I am able to create the wifi spot and its recognized on other devices like Iphone but when the Iphone connects to this hotspot there is no signal strength or something is not right.

I'm using a Verizon data card ( internet service ) download speed i think is 2MB im not sure. and the 2nd device im trying to connect is an Iphone 3g.

What i want is create a Wifi spot in my XP and for my iphone to pick it up and use it

If im unclear plz let me know ....any suggestions are welcome

I'm thinking Wifi connects and then disconnects...Someone mentioned soemthing about setting this up in the BIOS... are u guys familiar with that...setting so i can use Wifi and Data card at the same time...

Went to Computer store asked the Verizon Rep. He says with datacard I cannot make a wifi Hotspot. The internet cannot be shared..

All i have to say is "Where there is a will...someone will find a way"
