New to Java..well.. yesterday.

Quick question. How do I get a simple Hello World script.class/script.java to be executed in the browser?

I want to play around with it outside of the CMD/DOS console.

I am not sure what you are looking for, probably this should help you.

I feebly remember a class called Runtime in java, which can be used to execute a command, where in you may execute the following command "<PATH_TO_IE.EXE>\IExplorer and it should open the IE window.

You can only run a Java application in a browser if it is an Applet.
