Making a Scrollable Slideshow in Flash

Can anyone please tell me how I can make a Scrollable Slideshow (paintings or photos) in Flash (MX,8 or CS3)...I am a beginner teaching myself Flash at Lynda.com...but I have not been able to find a video that covers this area. I am making an "Artists Website" and would like to be able to show miniatures of the paintings so that the user can scroll through to see and select from. Is this too advanced a procedure for a beginner in Flash? Hopefully there is a component that could work for this...please let me know.
I sincerely appreciate anyone who can help me in this area.

You can look for an extension that does that and then download and use it. Look up macromedia flash extensions. Here is one I found in a quick search.

thank you everyone who responded to my search for a scrollable "slideshow" which later i found out was technically called a "scrollable banner"...

i especially would like to know how this scrollable banner can be created to be interactive in the way that a user can stop on a photo or picture in the banner while scrolling and then this picture will show up enlarged/larger somewhere near the scrolling banner (usually right next to it) on the page.

does anyone know about creating such a seemingly complex scrolling banner in Flash?

all advise is greatly appreciated!
