I have a TN that I need to add DNs to. I have done this numerous time through LD 20...

and I removed a DN from the TN in question the very morning...

I went back to make another change on the TN later is day and started receiving error code SCH6224 - Another user is already accessing that TN.

I performed a "Who" on the PBX server and saw that I was the only one in the system. I also went the the GUI (Element Manager) on the internet and asked some Tier 0 techs if they were accessing the TN or the system, which no one was.

I next thought that maybe since the change I needed to run EDD and BKR 4 from LD 43, which I did. I exited the system and logged back on when the backup was completed. I still received the same error code. So now I thought that I would wait until the next day.

Today is the next day and I am still receiving the same error code. Does anyone have any ideas?

Is this phone in an ACD? Is it being monitored by another set?

No it is not an ACD and it is not monitored. The phone belongs to a secretary/admin assistant so we set it up is that her Primary DN is a EXT DN on another sec/AA phone, but no monitoring.

just had a call for the exact same issue----tied steps 1-3----none worked---will do step 4 tonight

SCH6225 - ANOTHER USER IS ALREADY ACCESSING THAT DN.

Cause
The TN in question is in the process of a change and the system will not allow two attempts to change the account at the same time.

If the session that was making an attempt to make the change was improperly terminated the attempt to make a subsequent change is blocked.

Solution
Verify that no other account is attempting to make a service change.

Option 1: From the Overlay Loader prompt type who to see if there is an account in the overlay. If their is an account and it should be terminated it can be terminates by using the FORC command.

Option 2: If no user is present it is possible that a PTY account was used. Attempt to log in multiple time with PTY so the same PTY is used to make the change.

Option 3: Turn multiuser off. make the service change to that TN and then turn Multiuser back on.

Option 4: Reboot CS to release hung TN.

We are going to do step 4 tonight as well. I wanted to check on here to see if there was fix w/o rebooting the CS. Thanks to everyone who replied.
