Making 2 HD's Be seen as one

How can i make my 2 harddrives (one is a 20gig, the other 30) appear as on HD in windows xp pro. They are both running off my primary IDE (slave/master). I have a RAID card but dont know how to use it. Please help me out here.

This is something that should happen with two identical drives. You chances are not good.

A google search is in order to differentiate between raid 0 and raid 1. It's necessary to fully understand what's going on here.

what do i need to search for? i would like to use RAID0 if possible (i have a Promise Ultra100 RAID PCI)

Look for the requirements of the configuration and raid adapter. I've seen a couple that didn't require identical drives but most want them to be exactly the same.

It makes no sense to use different size drives, You will lose the extra space as the controller runs out of space on 1 drive,it will not continue to place data on the other drive. Also with raid 0 don't place anything on this computer that you can't do without,as if a drive fails,you have no redundancy and all data will be lost. Ok if you have a backup that runs daily, otherwise....Rich
