how can we raise the volume on NT8d14BB trunk cards. We have a tough time hearing the caller. Can the J1-J4 jumpers do it. We also see they are programmed

Have you confirmed the levels from the Telco are good?

telco seems fine, they are dids and cots, both are low once on trunk cards

Those values are for either Loaded or Unloaded cable pairs, will not help transmission gains
