I have several users who have bridged appearances for each other. Some phones are happy and some are insane! (No POTS lines, only T1)
Call comes in for ext 148, this also rings brg apps on 135, 136 & 133. Caller decided to hang up before call is answered however 148 & 135 continue to ring! The other two phones are fine and dandy. All phones are 5410's & have v5 firmware. It's set up with BA instead of a Group b/c they each want to see when the other is on the phone and pick up and cover for each other with one touch instead of dialing anything. Thoughts friends? I'm stumped...

Is the line dropping in call status?
If not get your line provider to check disconnect timers.

As a rule I have the IP Office 150ms less than what the line has been set for.

ACA - IP Office Implement
ACA - IP Telephony
ACS - IP Office Implement (Aug 30th)

It's been a long day...may take a while to check. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks Provider!

Similar problem here, but only on one phone which is a remote IP Hard phone (5610) and only happens if that phone is already on another call when a call comes in to the Bridge Appearance extension.

In our scenario the 5610 is at a remote site with a bridge appearance for an extension which is part of the incoming hunt group. If the hunt group is not answered within 15 seconds, it goes to VM Pro. However, the 5610 never stops ringing. Again, this only happens when the remote extension is already on a call.

I deleted the extension (per Avaya recommendation) and re-created with no better results.

We have this problem on both POTS and SIP lines. I has nothing to do with CPC/Clear Disconnect from the Telco.

The only way to get the phone to stop ringing it to unplug it.

I also had a similar situation - three 5410 phones with three direct line appearances for 3 POTS lines that we set to immediate. The POTS lines were also configured to ring a hunt group (same 3 telephones). Hunt group was set to queue. The endless ring issue would happen. Turned off "immediate" on line appearance and turned of queueing in group - haven't had trouble since.
