Hi!
Does anybody know if it is possible to make a FME(*21*ext-nr*B-address#) on a OPI by using commands?
We have a MD110 BC10/CNA144 with about 140 extentions that is externaly diverted without any physical telephone connected. After exchange-restart/reload we have to manually program all these extensions on the OPI. We are looking for a way to program this by commands instead.
Best regards BJ2592

Do you need internal diversion (*21*) or external diveresion (*22#)?

to divert internally: Use gh-groups with cdini instead of extension

to divert externally: Use ACD-groups with cdini to abb-numbers instead of extensions. Problem: capacity per LIM could be not enough.

why not using "generic extensions" with "personal number"
needs licenses

IMHO: You can do this from another extention using the same procedure as you mention, according to User's Guide of DIALOG 3199. The guide now is unreachable, so I can't check it. (But, of course, the telephone type doesn't matter).

Oh, sorry. It's (above) from another opera, written by mistake.

You can set up Common Abb Numbers and only the opi will be able to use them-you will still have to dial 140 numbers but still easier than *21*extn no*etc
best way is generic extn and pelpi but i dont think this is saved in reload data anyhow until later versions of BC11
Regards
