I have a meridian opt 11 phone system. I am new to this, so any help will be much appreciated. I have an extension (556) that needs to ring 556 and 581. What would be the proper steps I need to do to make this work?

Best Regards,

Mike Wilson

Hello Mike

Are both numbers analogue extensions or digital ones or one of each etc?. If extension 581 is a digital sets, then it might be possible to assign 556 as an additional DN on a different key.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

If one is digital and one is analog, then you would lose your privacy on the line.

I believe they are both digital lines. Can you provide which program to load and an example?

Thanks,

Mike Wilson

Hi Mike,

From LD 11:

1) Print out ext 556

DN 556
CPND
NAME
XPLN 24
DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST
TYPE SL1
TN 022 0 00 01 KEY 04 DES P 22 JAN 2009
(2616)

2) Now add 586 to a key on the 556:

REQ: chg
TYPE: 26
TYPE 2616
TN 22 0 0 1
ECHG yes
ITEM key 03 scr 586
HNT FNA

just add the SCR xxx on a key on both TNs that need it to ring on them
