I have a situation where our secretary works only part time (in the front of the office) and our secretary/accountant works part time (in the back of the office). I would like both of there phones to ring on all incoming calls since it can be difficult to hear the phone ringing up front in the back office. Thanks in advance.

You must make the lines of the Extension in the back office appear and ring..under terminal/sets Line Assignments..

Thanks for the help, but I am a novice and am not sure what I need to do. I know it can be pain when some one can't get a grip on something this simple. Please explain. Thanks again.

If you want to emulate all that is going on w/your main reception phone. (get the extension number of that phone)
Go to at least a 10 button phone set:feature ** (password)
Show terminals/sets
Show set (the one you want emulated)
You should see Copy button
System/User
Next then change to SINGLE
Next and enter internal number of the telephone that will be programmed
Press ok to proceed w/copy.

If you don't feel comfortable w/this...I would recommend a vendor in your area..

If you have a voice mail system operating or hunt groups at this location then you have other considerations to cover than just ring and appear. Flow chart this challenge in programming to cover all your bases.

Yes agreed FletcherP..
Scott1523 if you can't program lines to appear and ring.
No offense, as stated you might want to seek a vendor.
They'll have that issue resolved in under an hour.

None of this intimidates me. I am just not familiar with the lingo. I thought this would be a fairly easy thing to do. I tried copying the reception phone but when I get to the point of confirming the copy I don't get an OK button. I might have to call some one in. Thanks again.

It is fairly simple, if you've done it before. If you haven't, it's a little difficult. You have to keep in consideration voicemail, too. You may want a vendor to come out.
