Make 3 reports into one (Access 2000/2003)

I have users who prepare a set of three reports every day and create PDF files from them for distribution. They would like to select "one report" so that the three reports would end up in one file, effectively as if they were one report (but looking the same as they do now). When I set up a "three in one" report with each of the reports as a subreport I can get the reports to print....sort of. The reports have no headings or footers. Does anyone have an idea of how to get around this. Basically, I'd like to be able to force Access to print each report's page and report headers and footers.

You can put Headers and Footers in each of the reports that make up the subreports.

Alternatively, put what would appear to be Header information in the main report, just above where the subreport will print.

Actually, the page and report headers and footers in each subreport do not print when a report is used as a subreport on another report. That's my problem. And putting header information for each subreport in the main report doesn't work well when the subreport is longer than one page.

Unless there's some obscure property setting for each subreport that will force it to print the page and report headers and footers.

I just did a little test here. The subreport Report Header and Report Footer show just fine. The Page Header and Footer, in the subreport, seem to be a separate issue as they don't want to show.

I was trying to see if there was anything on the Microsoft site that indicated how to force subreport Page Headers and Footers to show.

Bob,

Check out Duane's response in this thread: thread703-823391

Generally it's the page headers and footers that are needed for these reports and, as noted in the reference, they will not print. I'd hoped to avoid redoing the reports using grouping headers and footer, but that isn't an option, unfortunately.

Is there a way to supress/hide the subreport title/name? I just want the group header and data to show, not the subreport name.
