Major Priv.edb issues

This is the error I am getting :

MSExchangeIS (342) Online defragmentation of database
'e:\exchsrv\MDBDATA\PRIV.EDB' terminated prematurely after
encountering unexpected error -1019.

I was talking to somebody and he said that I should get another server with exchange 5.5 and transfer all mail boxes over to the new server. My backups are not giving me any errors but this is the error in the event log.

how big is the database? are you allowed any down time? if so, you could try a soft recovery offline.

Check and see if you're getting later messages that online defrag completed successfully...if so, it was a transient error.
