I have a client using our Mita DP-2800 plus printer (also sold as Kyocera FS-7000 plus). The client is trying to print from Pagemaker 6.52 and is not able to find the option of 11X17 paper in our driver. This option is however available in all other software packages in use by the client. I have exhausted my options, as far as the printer settings go with no success. I was wandering if there was a patch available for this problem, or any other suggestion that you may be able to offer.

I'm not clear whether you are referring to your printer driver limitation or Pagemaker's limitation, but so far as Pagemaker is concerned, going to File, Document Setup will enable you to choose Tabloid or Custom and type in your dimensions, 11 x 17 in your case, and then it should print accordingly.

Did you try loading both the Mita and Kyocera printer drivers? ALL of the drivers for the model?

If the engines are Postscript printers, then you must check the associated *.ppd file.
Here are all the assigned paper sizes. [sig][/sig]

For large format printing with my Epson 1200, I have to specify the page size in BOTH Pagemaker AND the printer setup. Otherwise, I do not get a large format printing. [sig][/sig]
